He has a proven track record in the successful handling high value litigated matters across liability, construction and financial lines claims, demonstrating a deep understanding of the technical aspects of claims management required to ensure effective resolution.

Matt’s strategic approach is centred on advocacy for Bellrock customers throughout all phases of claims management from initial assessment, comprehensive review of indemnity and negotiation through to final resolution.

Matt has developed a wholistic knowledge of claims management built over years of first-hand experience acting on both sides of claims matters. His experience working for insurers has entailed the management of large portfolios of litigated matters on behalf of Australian, USA, UK (Lloyd’s) insurers on behalf of many Fortune Global 500 companies. This insider knowledge of insurer responses to claims has assisted Matt in roles held with global and local insurance risk advisors where he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to obtaining the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Joining our Claims Team in 2024, Matt recognised an alignment of professional values in Bellrock’s approach to client advocacy. In his role as Senior Claims Advisor Matt assists Bellrock customers on a wide range of claims across most business lines, including Public Liability, Product Recall, Professional Indemnity Financial Lines, Tax Audit, Contract Works and ISR.
